I've made an appointment with SDAC PJ for my first service next week. Let's see how they fare in my books. Will update once the service is done.

Just got back from my 10k km service.

The good:
- I had a slight defect with the car during handover 3 months ago - the nuts securing the bonnet to the hinges were rusty. SDAC touched it up with anti-rust paint and did a pretty good job.
- It's FREE!

The bad:
- Gosh, the wait is unbearably long. I had a 10am appointment and even though I stepped in at 9:55am and picked up my appointment number, I was only served by the service advisor at 10:20am. There are just too many cars and not enough service staff. The same repeated itself at the end of the day when it was time to collect the car. I had to wait 20 minutes for my turn with the single cashier.

Hi Kevin, thanks for sharing. That's the prob with SDAC these days. With sales up as a result of the Fiesta, the queues will suffer. Unless they have a different service line for diff models. I was told that Persada is opening their SC behind their Puchong showroom, operational end of this month. Another one is slated for Shah Alam if I heard correctly.

I've test driven the S-Max and loved it. The only thing preventing me from plonking down is the price. I know you get plenty of car and specs for the price but it's still $$ in an uncertain year.

Any feedback on the car? Are you using it as a weekend car? How's the fuel consumption like..

Thanks again.

After this, you will think the S-Max is cheap smile_thumbup.gif

The car is used daily and it covers approximately 70km a day. FC is around 12-13litres/100km but please note that the car is pushed hard most of the time.

Love the car to bits.

Had my car serviced at the PJ HQ today. Sent in the car at 8am, collected at 1pm. The noisy door is fixed, so far no more noise.

I will rate the quality of service good. Up to my expectation.

Cars, Oh cars......

Hope things get better and the authorized distributor does not decide to abandon ship mid-way. After all only Fiesta is selling well now, if they don't improve the service aspect then people are gonna get wiser and not support the brand.

I am confident things will improve. SD has done wonders with their Hyundai service levels. It's just a matter of replicating it with Ford.

they have the numbers with Hyundai (and Inokom models included). Ford-wise, not so sure unless the thousands of Fiesta owners decide to faithfully return to the Ford SCs.

Yesterday just done my 30k service with following complaint :-

1) Rattling noise at above 130km/h travelling speed

2) Wind gusting in sound at above 130km/h travelling speed

3) Noisy when press on the brake paddle during idling

4) request to adjust hand brake

Again the service adviser are humble and patient to listen to my complaints and when I collect my car following are the feed back by the service adviser :-

1) Rattling noise at high speed was due to some loose plastic cover which had been rectified

2) The mechanic had readjust the door panel but there are wind gusting in sound at the center of the wind screen, the service adviser told me to send back the car for another half a day for their mechanic and technical guys to reconfirm the problem, if it is the wind screen problems them they will submit claim and replace the wind screen for me.

3) Brake paddle issues rectified

4) Hand brake adjustment done.

All I have to said is although ford now a day are overloaded due to the increase of population in ford car especially fiesta, but the working attitude and the way their handle the complaints is still good, their might not able to rectify you problems in one service, but at least they had try their best to work on it, so far I am satisfied with their service and I will continue to send back my car to them even after warranty period.
