Thanks Jon. Your death by protectant statement had me bursting out in laughter!

Which product are you using?

I'm using DG 203 Leather and Vinyl Dressing. Non oily, less dust. On some vinyl it leaves a "new car" look like my Nissan but on my Honda it looks slightly shiny. So it looks different for different surface material. But its generally non greasy and attracts less dust which I think Bro VR2 also uses.

1.Harmful for health I'm not sure abt it...but at least for me, when applying these stuff its good to use some cheapo rubber gloves rather than bare hands..

2.Is that the 'Armor All' brand you are talking abt?

1. Note on the gloves, and will wear face mask 3M just in case.
2. I'm really a newbie regarding car interior care products. I'm looking for products that helps prevent or reduce damage on the dashboards and interior plastic/rubber/silicone trims from UV and heat. Armor All, STP Son of a Gun are often what I googled, but I rather hear from a user who has tried it for long term. (the web ones are "my first time using it and i love the shine"...definitely not long term usage!)

Thanks for your response.
I will go shop around for this, is this commonly available in DIY stores and how much should I expect to pay?
Less greasy is definitely what I am looking for. I tried once using some cheapo brands and the shine it left there nearly blinded me when I drive... smile_dead.gif

Duragloss (DG) is not available Over The Counter (OTC). Most of the sifus here don't use OTC stuff we use better quality higher end stuff. DG is only available via their website or you have to go to their office in Philio D'sara got go to their Dealer (a chinese medicine shop to get. Easier to buy online from the DG store. DG generally provides better quality at a reasonable price.

Generally most of us use these brands for our detailing needs:

Duragloss
Meguiars Professional range
Menzerna
Optimum
Osren
Mothers
Autoglym
DoDo Juice

Then we usually try alittle bit of this and that from other brands which are not mentioned.

For interior usage, if in doubt, after application leave the doors or windows open to air it for a while. Most evaporation happens at time of application....

Yup, using DG203 also, less dust at least for the first 2 weeks or so.
Now even use on the engine cover, and some engine rubber parts/section.... smile_tongue.gif
