certified plant, under authority of Pennzoil America and distributed by
UMW.
Claim to meet service classification API:SM/CF
but the question is, does it really follow the formula from US? because what we saw in US that the Pennzoil Platinum are only fully synthetic. but here, even a semi-synt can label itself as "pennzoil platinum"....
and also, in the US there was no semi-synt as platinum, maybe malaysia here self develop a new semi-synt range or formula, then sell it under the name of pennzoil platinum???
in US, we can easily get the data sheet/ typical propeties to do comparison with other brand, and ofcuz US Pennzoil are providing this data sheet on their own website, but what we can see here is only some "marketing *so called data sheet*"... why they dont provide the data sheet here? even Mobil or Castrol will provide it in Malaysia.
actually, what we thought are... are this two oil different formula, even not good as original US pennzoil? or they just do it theyself develop their own oil and label it as Pennzoil...?
however, pennzoil (the US one) really a good oil and higher reputation in US, but how about malaysia's?
just my 2sen, correct me if im wrong.

If formulas are followed and relevant tests are done to confirm end results than there should not be a problem.
How confident we are that this is done is what is worrisome.

i would like to hear some opinion, anyone use this before?

Like most oil I use, I can not tell any difference using it, now I am back to Shell Helix HX7 because I get it free with my Bonuslink points.
Penzoil in Malaysia claims they have this time release properties which will keep the engine clean.
BUT do take note that claims like that is not on their oil for the American market because they will get in trouble with their FTA because it cannot be substantiated technically.
The situation is similar to the Castrol Magnatec claim of molecular attraction, Castrol do not claim that in their American market.

That means if there are no authority checking on this, they are bluffing the whole world?

all those words came out from salesman mouth can't believe 100% 1
cause all the pros become superb & all the cons become pros,
also all the technical term used become irrelevant cause its application became "bend"
