Crankshaft/Flywheel Oil Seal Leaking engine oil

It's VERY VERY unlikely for the rear cranshaft oil seals to fail at
80,000km, Now I'm quite skeptical in using synthetic base oil...
The rear oil seal is among the robust oil seals after the valve oil seals
in the cylinder head... Eon engineers should diagnos this whether it's the
synthetic chemical base additives that is the culprit or the oil seals
itself...
From my record, my Dad's car Mitsu Galant 1.6 the rear oil seals failed on
the 3rd clutch plate change, milege clocked at 280,000km, my old car at
260,000km, just now check my friends car 220,000km still not yet change
rear oil seals... all are using mineral base oil...
Situated behind the flywheel on manual, behind torque converter for
auto...though cheap, but expensive labour charge.. got to put down the
gearbox, oil seals are usually 3rd party product..non-warranty by Eon.
guess what will happen if the 16 pieces valve oil seal fails....

when change timing belt both upper camshaft oilseal and lower crankshaft
oilseal must be change too. rubber will get hardened after being exposed
to high engine temperature..the oilseals wont show sign of crack but
itwill get hardened and lost their elasticity properties which will cause
oil leaks..so better do the job at one go rather than wait till they
leak...remember to change the gearbox to driveshaft oilseals if there are
sign of minor leak coz gear oil will leak and water will get into the
gearbox if go tru floods

u guys dun tell me the fully syn oil im using not suitable for waja hence
make the oil seal leaking a?
me using petronas 3000 wan wor...

ifind the viscosity of the syntium 3000 especially Mobil 1 are too thin
for my waja..therefore the tedency for the oil to evaporate at high
temperature are high..but the thin oil property will be less taxing to
the engine resulting in better and smoother acceleration...however I dont
find much difference in other cheaper alternative oils...expensive oil
doesnt mean good oil...the high cost comes from the expensive R&D that
come to produce the oil
for my waja..therefore the tedency for the oil to evaporate at high

I'm using since 20k until now 110k....No problem...Petronas 3000.

No lar... wont die wan lar... the mechanic said little leak only wat?,
still can go another timing belt chain maa... engine lembab a bit still
ok unless dripping then got to change... anyway it helps lubricates your
chasis against rust...
I think the mechanic who changed your belt also got surprise wan..
80,000km got leak oredy... if you ask him ar.. sure he pening to answer
wan....its either the engine oil or the oil seal nothing else..
If you want to change oil seal ask your mechanic to get ori wan.. look at
the oil seal properly.. written mitsubishi on the oil seal..if cannot get
ori,any oil seal oso can, but make sure written (Made in Japan)under
licence wan.. no body dares to tiru this trademark..

we got it from china..hehehehe dont worry to much lar....its normal maa...
before this I already own 4 types car maa.. so far waja to me is the best
in it's class.. I always like to kejut ppl a bit..hehehe

15 cm is not really that bad, now you got to make routine oil dip stick
check, and figure out how bad is the leak, if the oil could last between
oil changes, then it's alright, that if you don't mind living with
stained porch..
Try/find add oil additives that could cure or reinstate oil seal
elasticity, or maybe try different oil brand for the next oil change..
