(that's what you post) Correct me If I'm wrong, sholdn't you follow the
right tyre pressure????
I been driving my frontier for 8 months now and I dare to say not many
frontier owners have trash their pickup like how I did it to my baby. And
till now she seems to be ok. Yes at the beginging there are some noise
from the bedliner and alignment problem. Those things now have been fix.
My gf who is not fan of manual vehicle even said it is easy to drive. The
power is there(off coz), the cluth is light.
So, PC10 I am sorry maybe you got the bad apple.

for 6 months.
I was reasonably impressed with it. The vehicle has been offroad on many
occasions and to date he has not had any problems. Also, I have seen
other frontiers perform very well, both in standard form and modified.
Maybe PC10 does have a bad apple.

has bought some frontier for out-station use, and I got a friend who drove
that Frontier(JKR Officer), he found out that after some traveling the
Frontier has lost his power especially on climbing a hill... Then their
workshop found out that there is a serious fuel pump problem.
"I drove a frontier on Sunday offroad. Belonged to a friend who has had it
for 6 months. I was reasonably impressed with it. The vehicle has been
offroad on many
occasions and to date he has not had any problems. Also, I have seen
other frontiers perform very well, both in standard form and modified.

Maybe that is too early to compare. But, my comparation to my friend's
FORD RANGER which as same age of my Frontier, his car still solid, well
fitted and less noise cabin, and i'm one of the very good 'car care'
person compare to my fellow friends.

been spinning wheels badly negotiating the slippery muddy grass trying to
get pass the fallen log. Was it due to lack of LSD or HT tyre? Or
combination of both?
On the quality issue, going by Japs standard, it surprise me. Go Korea then

endurasoon,
Yes, the pressure was wrong. It had just come back from the Nissan
service when we drove it - and it snapped. So, who to point finger at?
But definitely no complaints about the engine - best thing in the car.
The Frontier's made me switch allegience to diesel from petrol. Nothing
like a totally powderful engine... make me feel so macho one. :)
And by the way, I have driven my baby (that's my Frontier) up to Kuala Mu
and Kg Beswok (which is the left turning up the hill at the fork) before -
with standard tyres some more. So I know it's a fairly capable car.
Frontier's wheel spinning show was probably because he didn't have the
right tyres lah.

it differs from one brand to another, or to a certain degree, from one
vehicle to another. On the frontier quality issues, I just got the feeling
if CKD is behind all this? Ever imagine if CBU made making all this noises?
Remember the infamous proton power window? It's not the driver, nothing you
can do about it, except show them who are the boss. TUV or not..have you
seen any Savvy lately? I'm yet.

I got a funny question..!
1) What is the meaning of CBU ?
- I know that the engine of the Frontier is supplied by the Japanese's
NISSAN. How about the accessories, Steel Plate, Frame, especially the
Dashboard plastic and the decoration ? Is that all supplied from the
same Factory/Company who supplied for the Proton's parts ?
- If that the case.. no wonder the quality is as funny as Proton Car..!!

CKD - Completely Knock Down, or locally assemble lar.
I think since the AFTA has put pressure to car manuf to put 80% local
content, it`s where the problem comes from. Maybe I`m a bit cynical, but
prove me otherwise then. My other car also CKD (the `other` national car
..hehe), but never let me down. Haiya...I grumble so much
