Hi all,

I would like to know what is the price for proton saga lmst air cond compressor ?

My original compressor is UCM brand, according the the foreman, this is the lowest level compressor. It is getting noisy nowadays.

So how much to replace a new compressor ? How about re-con compressor ?

Is it better change to Denso compressor ? How much will it cost ? Do need to modify other things as well like condensor ?

yups.. happened to my satria and iswara.

iswara yr2001 jammed @35k km...
satria compressor vane broke @ 90k km.. (this one compressor jammed till emit smoke)
both ucm..and both compressor jammed.
(tell tale signs - compressor making noice like ice cream seller's bell)

for iswara i changed mine in yr 2003 to a mitsubishi compressor which I bought from chopshop @ rm130. (includes bracket)
for satria, changed in 2009 for rm600 inclu labour (got from aircon shop) which the person halfcut denso..

condensor no problem, can use back.. both mine using ucm condensor.
jz remember to make sure u use highquality panasonic condensor fan as well.

have another 2 wiras at home both using denso (oem factory).. wira YR1995 and wira ab YR1998... no problem till now...

been ther done that..
