Would like to ask those who has remove the cat converter what does it mean by adding straight thru when removing cat converter. Does it mean taking out the whole cat conv or adding a straight pipe inside the cat. Will it cause problems as the ox sensor is right on the cat conv. Mine has been decat as its damaged but the casing is still intact. It didn't sound as smooth as I understand there's no more back pressure but otherwise no problems. I'm asking as I prefer smooth and quiet like original. Thinking of adding the pipe if it helps.
Secondly, the muffler is starting to sound funny like breaking up. Should I go for chop shop or others? Will S-flow be suitable as I hate that big muffler hanging on the rear. I just wanted smooth and quiet ride not ah beng style.
Sorry I'm a dumb when comes to exhaust. Any alternatives for the above all are most welcome. Thank you.
