Hi everyone,

I owned a Proton Wira 4G15 Carburetor Engine.
With the current fuel price of Ron95 RM 1.90 per litre, my car go for around 180-187Km with rm30 or about 15.789 litre of Ron95.

The petrol consumed including traffic jams. I wish to know if the fuel consumption in that rate is normal.

Please advise. Thanks~

Hi,

It would be best to use the measure km/l or l/100km for measuring fuel consumption. These measures do not depend on the current fuel price and so it is fair and everlasting....

Just bought an old 1.5 Wira carburettor for my son. So far the consumption is around 12-13 km/l (total km travelled / total litres consumed) for mixed cycle. Not too bad for an old car.

Yup, agree. Should be km/l or l/100km. Best also to fill to max and then refill to max to get more accurate figure.... smile_tongue.gif
