would like to know, what is the duration that you change your timing belt on your 405 ?

My last changed was 4 years ago with lesser than 30,000 km run. should I change it or next year ?

4-5 years max change timing belt(or max 80K km, whichever first). Important to change waterpump together. Use only original.

- change the belt every 60,000 kms max. (of course the 2 oil seals, timing bearing and chk water pumpen)
- try to get belt made by "Gates"
- total number of gigi = 113
- time to change no issues as long as engine running everyday.

why need to change water pump together if it is still working well ?

my water pump was changed together with timing belt last time ..... jam and cant work that time.

timing belt + water pump = abt RM500.00

but, my lion is only weekend car .... meaning .... only sat and sun ..... need to stay timing belt and pump within 4 yrs ? can it delay to next year .... mean 5 yrs ?

but problem is, how i can make sure it can stand for one more year ...... headache .....
