Hi to alll...

This same questions I have posted on the Perodua Thread...

It recently come to my mind....Since the JPJ road tax are now sticker type, how do we
remove them and install them again onto the new windshields if our windshields are
broken???

I don't think the sticker could be removed once it was stickered up onto the
windshields....Koyak loo....

Do we need to buy a new road tax sticker to replace it???

Anyone mind to share their thoughts?

I was informed that you need to get a new one from the JPJ when your
windscreen is broken.

If I'm not mistaken, when they launched the new road tax, they mentioned
that to replace it you need to pay RM50 for it. The road tax can actually
be safely remove and re-paste. When I got my front windshield tinted, they
can simply do that with their tool. Maybe you can bring that piece of the
broken windshield to the accesories shop that do tinting, ask them to
remove it for you...

Yes correct. You have to pay another RM50 to replace your car's road tax if it is damaged.

Go to yr local windscreen/exhaust shop, they'll know how to remove it w/o
tearing it. My dad just replaced a windscreen on an Iswara and the roadtax
sticker was transferred over without any problem.

happened that my road tax will expire in August, i will replace my front
windscreen just before it expires....just don't want to waste my time
going to JPJ to get a new sticker. I'm sure you know how these people
work overthere lah!

Hiii....

Ya laaa...so troublesome...got much more work to do nowadays and even do not have
time to wait soooo long at JPJ....Can we just do it in PEJABAT POS or do we need to do it
at JPJ itself???

I've seen a lot of vehicles here in KK sabah, especially buses and 4wds do not mind to
paste the sticker itself onto the windscreen...Instead they just put the new road tax
sticker to the old road tax discs plastic holder and the holder is pasted onto the
windscreen....Just like old time, and some really look nice...Reasons????It is easier to peel
off if the windsreen is broken...

I've even seen some of the acc. shop sell the new road tax holder nowadays...plastic
type that is....

Don't know whether JPJ permit this or not....
