Guess what!!! GB problem again.
Senario
1st gear, trottle it..( normal )
2nd gear, trottle it..( does not change gear till high RPM and gear something like slips )
3rd and 4th gear...( gear still slips like when in 2nd..when lepas trottle, the RPM drops ..much like a normal auto gearbox )
Normally this 1.8s, when we cruiz ..about 90km/h, RPM should be about 2.5K right? But I'am getting about 3 plus. Then when I lepas minyak, my RPM drops. This is not suppose to happen to the DPO GB right?...We should have some kind of engine breaking when we lepas minyak right?
SO I pun frust...so I tarik la...1st, 2nd...and guess what...2nd gear I pull pass 4.3 or 4.4RPM the gear enggaged like normal. No slip. Then to 3rd and 4th like normal...the car was fine after that.
BUT when I slow down and the GB shifts back in 2nd ...there it starts again.
QUESTION!!!!...WHAT COULD BE WRONG? Suspects?
1) Valve body solinoid valve?...but which?..there are 8 in total?
2) Brake band?....normally if i cannot move forward but can go backwards..I think that would be it..but not this case
3) Not enough AFT?...oready check it
4) Clutch?....but if it is...then it should be constant slip...not back to normal after I Rev the darn thing
5) Drity AFT?.....Maybe la...what you guys think?
6) TCU...???
7) Are there any other sensors that I miss out?

dear sir, for your question maybe is solonoid valve problem, l can't say which one , you must use pdt 2000 scanner to scan it, as far as l can share for you, the valve itself got part number white color or black color and 257.10 or 257.17.
usually is the big one, they got 2 unit, one is function and second one work as dummy. some of people say must match with TCU, yes it is, TCU got few type tape a or tape c and so on, but as far as l know the TCU can be reprogram it, but not all the SC know how to program it, that why they must fine the collect code.
usually they used part number 257.17 because it can match all type of TCU. l got few friend kl and malaka they know how to do it, if you don't want u can find the tan chong motor service center but not all the tan chong motor service center want to fix the waja 1.8, so you need to ask them, in my place only bayan lepans penang tan chong motor service center want to do it the lest don't want.
