Why not keep the Original rims then. Tyre size to go for will be 195/55/R15.
PS3 is one of the best buy around. Performance and comfort all in one..... smile_thumbup.gif

This was posted in another topic for another member:-
>>>As for upgrade 195/55/R15 is better. Even though diameter is smaller by 1.27% over the OE size, it is better than 195/60/R15 as this size diameter is larger by 1.95%. Tyre choice in 195/55/R15 also very much more......<<<

Will be slightly more bumpy, so got to choose a softer sidewall tyre, and that is why PS3 was recommended.
If you are afraid of the car becoming bumpy why change to bigger rims just to look nice?

For the rims to be bigger, you will have to cut down on the section height and that is your sidewall.
For example your original 185/60/R15 if changed to 16" uses 195/50/R16 and in 17" is 215/40/R17. These sizes are the closest to your original diameter. For 195/50/R16 tyre choices are very little. In 17" 205/40/R17 also can be used by tyre will look much smaller. Tyre choices also less and tyres are expensive and in 40 series your ride will be very bumpy.
Your choice...... smile_wink.gif

Yalor, if want to maintain the comfort, just change the tyres as per post #2

Hai. I read your exchanges with much enthusiasm. Have you changed the tyres. I want to change too to 195/55/15. will that be okay?

I'm sure it will be fine dude, just make sure you get those "soft" type of tires... for best solution you should probably get Yokohama C-Drive, Michelin Pilot Primacy/Primacy LC/Pilot Preceda, Goodyear Assurance, Continental ComfortContact/CC5, etc... where in PG you at?

i am in KL. just now i went to a tyre shop and enquired about the same tyre change. the tyre man told me that it is okay for me to change to 195 and the rims can accept that. i will change most probably to continental cc5. I am checking the website to get the best deal.
