this 2 models, of course the first thing is brand,
other than that if any different like:
1)fuel consumption
2)suspension
3)space
4)top speed/power
5)resale value
6)etc....
This 2 come to Malaysia as CBU unit. If any news about
maybe its will came to this country as CKD unit, please
keep in touch. Any feedback, thanks.

say the 2nd row seats are the most comfortable in the car because they
can be reclined and moved backwards for more seating pleasure. The 3rd
row, although can fit in 3 persons but 2 adults should be just nice. The
only down side is such model doesn't come with air-cond blower for 3rd
row seats, therefore I had rather folded them down and make my Stream a 5-
seater. The price I paid was RM 126,000 back in October.
Toyota Wish on the other hand, is selling at RM 140+ thousand, it is
1.8litre and I think specification wise it is better than 1.7 Stream (not
comparing the engine capacity that is). Not much info I can give you
because I haven't tried out Wish yet.

From what I know, the dimensions of both the stream and wish is
exactly the same i.e. length, width, wheelbase.
Stream - 2 variants i.e 1.7 from parallel importer And 2.0 vtec from
Honda Motor that comes with 3 yr warranty and 2 yrs free
maintenance. But 2.0 variant comes from Indonesia whilst the 1.7 is
from Japan. 2.0 variant 150 ps, I believe. Price about the same as the
Wish that I've paid for.
Wish - 2 litre as well as 1.8. All Wishes comes from parallel importer
for the moment. 2.0 litre version - two types. One from Japan that
uses D4 engine and one from Thailand that uses our local Camry
engine. Both are 6 seaters. 1.8 variant from Japan uses the same
Altis 1.8 engine and is supposedly a 7 seater. 1.8 three version - XE,
X and XS, XS being the best speced. If you are looking for Wish- note
that there are new AP and used AP with slight price difference.
Why I got the Wish instead of Stream? I just don't like Honda.

to this msg. As we know, quality from Japan much better than
other country(Asia) for automobile....so I prefer Wish. About
2 weeks ago, I've try Stream 1.7(2nd hand) from used car, found
absobers, drive quality & performance so bad. Why? Maybe 2nd
hand but also as we know Toyota better than Hona(until now I
just wondering why Honda 2nd place in Malaysia behind Proton).
Anybody else have this problem? Or anyone just try/own new
Wish? Please give feedback caused maybe after Raya I'll try
to get new car, of course between this 2 models(new car, not
2nd hand anymore)....

buy - READ: A LOUSY BUY.
i took it for just a short drive and to my suprise, the moment i pressed
the accelerator, very little is coming out from the Honda engine. if that
was not bad enough, when i drove onto a rough patch of road, my god, the
sound proofing was horrible! rumbling in the cabin.
so i guess it is not just you guys or just me alone that has test drive the
stream and have found out to be a poor buy.
the moment i tested the wish, i ordered it almost immediately. didn't want
to look for anything else. and from the replies above, it's made in japan.
so i guess my decision and anyone of you who is deciding on these both
models, the wish is the much better buy, albeit a higher price tag.

reliability and c) space. The Stream rated 4-stars in the Euro-NCAP, one of
the better mini-MPVs in the list while the Wish isn't rated. Considered the
bigger vans out there (Estima and Odyssey) but since I only have two
children, the extra bulk and cost of a larger van wasn't useful.
My problem with it was that the Stream was it's size, it was barely bigger
than the Civic which it's based on. I could barely fit in the back seat,
definitely not a practical seat. Fortunately the used car dealer had a
Toyota Wish available and after trying it out, I bought it on that same day.
The Stream is a bit lower to the ground, giving slightly better drivability
but the Wish has better insulation and far better space. The Stream was
designed as a so-called "driver's car" but I wasn't looking for one. The
only advantages of the Stream over the Wish is the price and A/C vent in
the rear, the back of the Wish get's warm on a hot day.
Both Stream 2.0 and Wish 1.8 that I tried were Japanese CBU by the way.

New AP
Old AP .
What is the difference besides that new AP cost more ?
And how much more ?
I would get a Wish anytime over Stream !
Just my opinion .
Thanks .
