The 2009 GTS EVO!! Maybe this will be the new GTS 250 for the Malaysian market! Pls say YES! I wonder if there's a retrofit kit for the present GTS as only the front cowl from the headlight up is new.

Hi..ima new biker of SYM ...jest to make frens
Congratulations on your new bike.
Remember the first oil change is at 300 km and both the e ngine and transmission oil must be changed.
Dun over rev the bike till then.
It's a great scooter for the price. Also be careful with the new tires, they dun grip that well when new and especially in the wet.

Klscoot,
You should be able to get the specification for all the oil used.
(gear/engine) from the manual handbook.
As on the part availability, don?t expect the parts will be available at
any shop like what we have as an Eleganer and all parts are different.
Please read all the related thread and keep up with the latest info.
As on the tyre, Continental is the best value for money (for wet) below
RM 100 but now u hardly can get the 130/12/70 for the rear. The front
13?/90/110 for GTS is a main problem to get in the market (not available
in malaysia due to no demand). When u get the bike, try to pressure the
Distributor to come out with the alternative tyre better than Maxxis.
Singapore?s GTS come with Michelin Gold which cost RM 350.00 per no
set.

Acording to owner's manual, page 30.
Transmission oil, 1st change at 300km, then every 5,000 km
Engine oil 1st change at 300km, then at every 3,000km

Called MForce, SYM Service center in Segambut. For an engine & transmission oil change using Total RM27. Think i'll take it there for the next service.

Not too sure bro. but thought i've seen the backrest on elegan before. I wonder if it fits the same on gts. Aren't u getting a Givi rack or box? u're one of those purist who doesn't want to spoil the bike's lines?
