Hi,

Just wondering is there anyone using this triplemax tyres and is it good? Didn't find anything from Malaysia Goodyear website.

Was looking for 205 60 R16 and they recommended this to me. Currently using Continental CC5, not sure will this triplemax a better choice?

Thank you.

I only know of Assurance Fuel Max and Assurance Armor Grip. Google triplemax and looks like maybe for Australia Market.
Which shop recommend to you? Maybe the tyres were traded in from an imported car?
Anyway, since triplemax is supposed to be a fuel saver you can try Assurance Fuel Max then.... smile_tongue.gif

Michelin too expensive. This 205 60 R16 is not a common size so not much selection. My CC5 cost me Rm320 in 2012 and now around Rm330 to Rm360. Thought of going for something different and especially when I am only driving a normal car.

This Triplemax was recomended by Hawk tayers. I believe Goodyear Philippines have launched this product and it seems pretty good. http://www.carguide....-triplemax.html

Not sure whether it is as good as they said. Btw, I was quote Rm325 per tyre.

Well, the michelin xm is a very durable tyre which have surprising level of grip in wet but normal grip in dry.
Imho, its overpriced.

Bridgestone is a tad cheaper.
If u dont mind a bit of noise, the new ecopia 200 is cheap.
Its a bit noisy compared with xm2 and bridgestone own turanza.
Grip in wet is good enough.
I am currently using this on my waja, size 205/55/16.
Was aiming for gy eagle assym but my rear had another plan of its own by failing for the 3rd and last time hence needing immediate replacement.

Was skeptical at 1st with the eco tyre but after a week it all changed.
Grip level is same as xm2 both wet and dry.
Its also improve fc, kid u not.
Not by much but enough to makes me notice the improvement.

I got mine for rm290 a piece

Hi,

Thanks for the recommendation. But it seems that Bridgestone doesn't have size 205 60 R16.

Actually now considering Yokohama C drive 2 since it cost about the same as CC5. Decided not to go for CC5 after discovering a few CC5 tyres burst cases on the internet.

since you've experienced both XM2 & Ecopia EP200, do you mind sharing us which one you feel is more fuel saving? lets not compare quietness and grip first. lets compare only the fuel saving and maybe the treadwear?
