Yea, we call the shoulder too.
Can post a pic? Normally the left front tyres wears the fastest. Even for my wife's ride the left front shows more wear then the ride side. This I read is due to use still having a lot of roundabouts.
If your tyres wearing only the outer shoulder, recheck the camber and alignment.
If the tyre wear wavy up and down then it is the absorber.
The wear is only at the outer shoulder. Will put a few more KM and check the tire again before I take it in for alignment and camber check. I also suspect the other cause of the tire shoulder wear is due to the "U" turn on my way home but then I did not have this issue with the ZE912 ie. on one tire only.
Thanks very much for your help.
Have wheels will ride, beats walking.

With directional tyres, if the wear continues, later on you can remove from rims and swap left and right, provided your right side don't wear inside.....

No fixed rule, and also depends on your tyre wear. The earlier you rotate and if do balancing and alignment like some, then you pay more if you rotate more often......

In the beginning i was disappointed with my decision to buy this. I wanted a cheaper tyre, and Nexen fit the bill. But only that. Other areas, it disappointed me. As time went on, I began to like the N6000. It was a more comfortable, somewhat quieter ride. It did give that woong woong sound as you are slowing down to a stop. The soft sidewalls told me to keep my cornering speeds, approach speeds, and 'hooliganism' in check. Gave me the chance to finally drive my MPV as an MPV. Not drive it like an oversized stationwagon. I have used them almost 10k KM in the past 14 months.
I guess as you grow older, your needs change too.
My previous tyres were Pirelli p7. Those Pirelli's gave good grip, good sidewall stiffness=good cornering and handling ability.
It's easy when you know how...
