Saw a silver one turn from elite to cyberjaya 2 days ago, one of you guys?

Should be getting mine tmrw from Naza though SA promised I should it this Wed when he insisted that I pay in bank draft last Friday sad.gif

So... I have a question ... Anyone of you changed rims? I think the std rims looks pretty awful. Anything special on it or we can just ditch it?

Hi all 508 sifus,

i am about to place a booking for this car and would glad if you guys could help to highlight me on some the issues that should be taken of. for example, i see that you guys are complaining about the MFD display. what should i get from the SA? the latest specs is supposed to be white in color?

and what other specs that i should look out for? i am afraid the SA might take advantage of me if i do not mention to him all of these points. how about discounts or free gifts? what do you guys get

did any of you bought the 508 from the TTDI branch??

appreciate your reply

1) be prepared to pay for non-working gps
2) be prepared to pay for a monochrome MFD

other than that, the car is pure pleasure smile_thumbup.gif

I might think twice to make a booking as every batch coming is having difference/change of spec.
missing interesting gadget in it.
paying same $$ getting substandard items. IS this the trend of PEUGEOT???

From what I heard, it was a once-off error on the French side. But then again, best to get a proper confirmation from the SA so you can always use it as a basis in arguing your case should they allocate a 'bad' batch.

In my case, it was easy enough to decline, and say I want the next 'fully speced' batch. Good luck.

Just scrutinize the brochure and make sure you get it as it says. Again, I believe the monochrome display was a once-off thing. A pity about the lack of GPS but it could have been worst: they could have bought in the no-screen spec in the first place and that would have been worst!

We can.

Need help. I collected my car yesterday and found that the lights at the rear passengers side is on constantly despite numerous press to try turning it off. Is there some control or configuration change required somewhere?

Also noticed there's some humming sound when breaking, and louder at higher speed. Is this normal?

Hmmm, now that u've mentioned it, I had the same problem with my 308 when I first collected it. Sent it back to SC and it was a simple switch issue (my fault).

it like winning lottery ... if you got colour mfd means you are the lucky one...

Btw, I did get the amber MFD and wasn't aware until I learnt from Forum. My SA promised to change to the color display for me, now still waiting for news. It will take time.

Friendly advise, emphasize the color MFD when you haven't received the car, look tru the car spec before it is registered in Puspakom else it might ended up like my case.

So far, still enjoying the car, can't live a day without driving it. smile_cool.gif

do note that brochures usually have a 'disclaimer' that allows for changes to specs by manufacturer or importer without customer notice.
