Normally electricals and sensors are very PITA to trouble shoot even for modern Jap cars. What I'm nervous about is ECU problem which is rarely something to fail in any cars. Secondly, the respond from Nasim is really a shame. It shows they are still elementary in their learning curve. Furthermore, there is limited technical info in overseas 5008 club forums and mostly are in foreign language and are not fully documented in terms of problems owners are experiencing like yourself. Do keep us up to speed on your car.
Some question I have is :
1) Does 5008 factory filled with Syntium3000 fully synthetic oil? Unlike other cars, EP6CDT engine seem do not need any oil change until 10,000km. Any owners can confirm this?
2) The gear level panel cover seem loose when shifting???
3) Are the twin LCD screens at the back of the headrest compatible with any portable DVD player? Anybody tried out watching movies with them?
Still considering whether to get Mazda 5, Estima ACR50 or 5008....

To protect your warranty, you NEED to have the car inspected at 2500km. Hope this clarifies it for you. The inspection is FOC unless you opt for an engine oil change.

I am quickly coming to the conclusion that any hope of good decent aftercare is delusional. I actually thought things were improving but it appears as if its one step forward and two steps back, battery warranty mayhem, your case,no courtesy cars ever available, The French being French and doing everything at a snails pace, two weeks before one can get your car into a service centre, blah blah blah, never mind though, at least its the No.1 European brand in sales, and to Nasim, it would seem that is all that matters.
Try to contact the car principal then, Naza usually will not care! They care more in the selling selling and then we all are left stranded with their cars problems, any best cars have! No doubt about that!
Just like my case, Not a Pug but a Captiva which is now also under Naza - took over from DRB Hicom. So happens to meet the GM people and tell them exactly what is happening - imagine they dont even have stock for interior & diesel filters and etc.... The principal were shocked after checking and found it to be true right in the SC, he asked the SA to print a copy of my bill less the no stocjk due to changed filters! and help to solved my problem of faulty steering shaft and gear module and etc... claims, and in which I have been waiting for these parts for closed to a years!!!! runiing around with all the faulty parts and endangering my life!!! They dont care! I keep posting this problem all over the MTM, AW forum, facebook and etc....! they "killed" the car brand - I really have intended to get a 308Thp but when it under them - forget it and got a Golf TSi instead - pay more but at least I am happy to be not controlled at their mercy for parts or claims.
