yang naik motor ni semua orang pandai2... yg bodoh tak perlu naik. takkan takleh agak gear baper?

CBR ada gear indicator ke? FZi? how about superbikes 250cc and above? are those biker can be considered bodoh as well? RXZ, NSR, TZM and kawasaki 150 all have no gear indicators as well.

even yamaha 125Z pun takde gear indicators - so its not a big deal. dont talk cheap.

i believe suzuki have their own reasonings on several issues like

1. why design not nice - to prevent theft
2. why name Belang? not nice. - to prevent theft
3. why so limited one and why so expensive... - only people who knows about engineering will appreciate this bike. and tehcnology wont come cheap.

for additional RM2,000 on LC, we will get 150cc engine with dual camshafts, additional 2 gears from 4 speed to 6 speed, LCD display with shit light, twin disc brakes and an oil cooling system which is highly more reliable than liquid cooled. Its all worth it.

carb leceh???
i tot EFI would be more leceh...
pomen bawah pokok can tune carb..
but not EFI...

shogun sell well even they have no EFI...

and btw,Aprillia RS250 don't even have fuel gauge but does this making the bike bodoh as well?
it only have warning lamp..
look quite bodoh to me...

but hey, like alldisc said true rider doesn't need those...
those gauge and gadgets does make ur bike looks cool but i guess it also makes u looks NOOB....
always depending on something to know something.....

gear indicator..
not really necesssary as belang is made for true rider...
he/she can observe the road condition and the engine revving sound..
no need EFI coz EFI is known for the lisurely type bike....
had ridden on wave125 i and yamaha FZi..they are just the 'polite' type on road..
sometimes i feel a bit underpowered....
that's why i prefer carby..

i would like to suggest,EFI in underbone is not the same with big bikes/cars...
EFI should be assisted by other sensors to make it roars....

they got the picture of the grey bike 'terbalik'! notice the exhaust is on the left side of the grey pictured bike but on the right side of the red pictured bike wink.gif it may be minor but it shows their attention to detail.

well, at least the page in the site is up and i do agree that this is supposed to be a sport bike so the instruments are rather sparse. but with the hp being higher than the rivals and with lighter weight, it should be pretty quick. i can accept the shape though but then again, looks are always personal so there is no right or wrong in here. just stating preferences. honestly, it looks much nicer than similarly formular'd bikes of the past; the suzuki rc sprinter and the honda hurricane.

i like the technological bits - 150cc!, 6 speed box (even naza's blade 250 has only 5 gears!!), manual clutch, digital speedo and oversized tacho, front and rear discs, oil cooler, full length front forks, twin cam multivalve engine and the monoshock rear suspension. notice that only the yamaha 125z has a monoshock rear but that is a 2 stroker. all other 4 stroke sport bikes have twin shock rear. i can live with the carb setting but of course, an efi is preferred due to the greater efficiency. but also, since it is such a small capacity vehicle, to me the fuel savings is negligible lah. so carb or efi makes no difference at this point in time to me. preferred but not essential smile.gif

am also considering the modenas 128gt and the suzuki shogun with manual clutch at the same time. technologically, this belang (i personally do not like the name) seems much more advanced than the other 2 which seem 'biasa' by comparison. the modenas has a very informative instrument cluster though. i definitely won't put any baskets or luggage carrying stuff so, my requirements from the bike are not so much practicality. rather, i like the bold looks and performance which is more important than anything else... hmmm, wonder if yamaha will bring in the fx16... but that discussion is for another thread altogetherlah smile.gif

for the sticker, u can replace it with Raider's.... if i were to buy one, the sticker is the first to go.. hehhe.... wave thailand also EFI, but every manufacturer have their reason why they don't bring in certain models. youngsters nowadays love to upgrade their bikes. tuning the carbs with different jettings. wonder what would they do with EFI? program it with a laptop maybe? hohoho not very economical.

frankly speaking, manufacturers maybe will lose their dominance in the market with certain models.
